this is one of my favorite kinds of mornings. the ones where i wake up early, do yoga, & cook a simple breakfast(this mroning, a sprouted grain english muffin with banana slices & honey on top, with a scrambled egg.) i always feel so much more refreshed when i start my day this way...perhaps that's why i've been feeling so shitty lately. With lack of proper eating & a lot of oversleeping, my body is finally reverting to sickness. But man, I'm fighting it!
i must say, breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day.
i do miss the summertime when berries were in abundance & my mom discovered we had blackberries growing wild in the backyard. i could pick them right before breakfast & not have them travel a thousand miles to get to my plate.
i wish everything could(easily) be this way!

Is the first picture film?
& I believe this is my favorite post of yours. It's just so simple & so lovely!
You really, really, really need to read A Year of Mornings. It will inspire you to love mornings even more (if that's possible?)
& yoga + breakfast (which includes eggs; I'm so obsessed with eggs right now by the way!) + Tori = dream come true!
MISS YOU xoxo

Hi Tori,
I'm a blogging friend of your mom's! I've read a lot about you on her blog and you seem like such a close-knit family...the way it should be!
You have a great blog! Happy 2009!
Another one coming over from your mama's place! I *heart* her!
I hope you get back to having your healthy, simple breakfasts and get to feeling better!
Stopping by from your moms blog--
I agree--a great breakfast is so yummy! I love berries with yogurt in the summer and oatmeal with berries in the winter.
I do like blackberries, but raspberries and blueberries are my fave.
you post some really lovely photos on your blog!
i look forward to seeing more
I'm so glad I found your blog...you've got a great eye for bringing forth the beautiful. And I have to say that I felt like I was reading a bi of my own thoughts in this entry. Early morning, yoga, and a good breakfast is also my favorite way to start the day. We used to have blackberries growing in our backyard in the late summer too, but they're so expensive in Texas, no matter what time of year it is!
